Our local teams play a fundamental role within the impact of our network by implementing YES-Europe vision locally and shaping the future of their cities and regions. With country representatives coordinating projects, local teams are organising events, publishing content to develop national programmes based on their field of interests.
Currently, we don’t have any major projects but feel free to reach out to us to discover our current work!
I currently work as a Research & Innovation Executive (R&I) at the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST). The R&I Unit manages national funds for R&I through the development and operation of programmes, which in turn, create vehicles for research across the public, academic and private sectors.
I am also a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. I’m implementing a Master of Science degree in Green Chemistry & Sustainable Industrial Technology obtained from the University of York, coupled with my passion for renewables, innovation, sustainability and research to make an impact in my environment.
YES-Europe has done terrific work to create a platform for young people to apply their passion, activism, expertise and skills to facilitate change and improvement on the continent. The marriage of economics, environmentalism, law, applied science and business within the group allows us to problem-solve and innovate holistically. I am delighted to be at the helm of our country team in Malta and continue the great endeavours that our organisation has managed to achieve so far.
